COVID-19: A message to our members!

Dear Valued Member-

Your credit union is planning on reopening our lobbies for lobby services on Monday, May 18, 2020.  Our lobby office hours will be shorter that in the past, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  We will be closing at 3:00 each day to give staff ample time to thoroughly clean from the days activities and properly sanitize the lobby.   Both the Polaris and Golden Triangle lobbies will be re-opening.

When entering our lobby we will be requiring you to wear your face mask while inside the building (we would prefer that you also have gloves).  We have a duty to not only protect you from any germs but also protect those coming into our office, and our staff as they perform their duties.  We will limit outside visitors to 10 at a time.  You will be asked to wait outside if there are already 10 members in the lobby until someone leaves to allow your entering our lobby.

You will also be asked to remove your mask so that we have a clear vision of your face for ensuring we are identifying you as the account owner and ensuring we are not giving access to your account to someone other than you. 

We encourage you to continue using online banking or mobile banking taking full advantage of those services available to you.  You may make a deposit using our mobile deposit service, and request a withdrawal be sent to you.  You can apply for a loan, and sign all loan documents electronically, or through our commercial lane (first drive through lane).  Our drive through facilities will continue to operate at their normal daily hours:

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:30pm
Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday CLOSED

With the Governor’s announcement of the phase 1 of reopening Texas, First Class American Credit Union has decided to wait until the Governor’s next announcement for phase 2 of reopening, which will be on May 14th, with plans of reopening our lobbies on Monday, May 18th. We will continue to be closed on Saturdays until further notice.

Members will not be allowed to come in the lobby without masks and gloves. We will have some disposable gloves we can give to members if they have none, but we will not have any masks, due to the lack of availability.

The health and safety of our members, employees, and the communities that we serve remain a top priority.  We continue to monitor and comply with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, all transactions to serve our membership will be done through the drive-thru lanes at our branches.  Lobby access will be by appointment only.  We will offer expanded services in the drive-thru to meet your needs.

There will be no lobby access without first making an appointment.  We encourage you to use our online and remote services including ATMs, online banking, mobile deposit, and online bill pay.

We are here to serve you and meet your needs.

  • Drive-Thru Service is open at both branch locations. We have expanded the transactions that you can conduct here so if you need us, we can help you. If you lose your debit card or credit card, call us at 817.834.9777 and we’ll direct you on where you can pick one up.
  • Deposit Checks with your Phone with FCACU’s free mobile deposit.   Simply snap a picture of your check for deposit.
  • Remote Banking Transactions can be done 24/7 with our online or mobile app. It’s your money and you need the ability to manage it on your terms.  You’ll have the ability to: view statements, transfer money between accounts, deposit checks, and even apply for loans.  Contact us if you need help setting up online access or mobile access.  You can sign up to pay bills once you have online access.
  • ATMsAs a part of the COOP Network, you can get cash from over 20,000 ATMs worldwide where you will have free access to your cash.  We also have free ATMs in all North Texas 7-eleven convenience stores as well as all branch locations.
  • Pay Bills easily from anywhere with FCACU’s online and mobile Bill-Pay feature.
